FABLE
Parron Allen | Fall/Winter 2024/25 Collection
“In a world full of basics, your clothes should tell a story.”
Fable takes us on an adventure of human connection through the symbolism of a changing world. Foxes, flowers, tapestries, and metallics are all pulled into the whirlwind of modernity as we try to make sense of it all. Fable seeks warmth and comfort amidst the crush, evoking spaces and objects of soft fruitfulness.
In an economy that privileges minimalism and senseless juxtaposition, Fable calls us to connect with each other and the artifacts of a disappearing world. It calls us to surround ourselves with the beautiful things we’ve collected and to ask others where their stories of beauty and truth lie.
Every Fable piece has a story to tell and embodies the struggle of finding the narrative of beauty in an environment of painful change. Fabrics and trims were sourced from salvage warehouses, garment rental castoffs, and discarded factory remnants. Fable gathers all these threads together from places of uncertainty into a new, united narrative of moral nostalgia.
